"It's just devastating."The flood also destroyed livelihoods."The water took roughly two hundred brown bales of hay," said Imel. They estimated more than 9 inches of rain fell over just three hours. The water tossed around cars, and trailers, while also leaving some roads in the area completely impassable."I have never witnessed this type of devastation," said Gary Imel.Just one day after watching a flash food wreak havoc on his neighbors, Imel found out the flood claimed the life of a woman, a person he knew."I'm still in shock," said Imel. On Sunday, Jefferson County Emergency Management officials announced one woman is dead after flash flooding washed away roads and entire homes in parts of southern Indiana.

THEY’RE URGING NON-RESIDENTS TO AVOID THE AREA. AT LEAST EIGHT AGENCIES ARE WORKING TOGETHER TO CONTINUE TO ASSESS THE DAMAGE. NOW, AT THIS POINT, THERE HAVE BEEN NO OTHER REPORTS OF INJURIES DUE TO THAT FLOODING. AND BEING A SMALL FARMER THAT ALMOST TAKE YOU OUT.

EVEN IF IT MEANS STARTING BACK AT SQUARE ONE, EVERYTHING IS JUST. STILL, HE CONSIDERS HIMSELF ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES. HIS TRAILER IS DESTROYED AND HIS ELECTRIC FENCE IS RUINED. ASIDE FROM THE HAY BALES, EMIL ALSO LOST A CALF. IT’S GOING TO BE SEVERAL WEEKS BEFORE, YOU KNOW, EVERYTHING’S OPEN. JEFFERSON COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS SAY MORE THAN 20 DIFFERENT BUILDINGS IN THE AREA SUSTAINED DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF THE STORM. I’M SURE WE’RE GOING TO DOWNSIZE AND HAVE TO SELL SOME, BUT WE’LL BE ABLE TO START OVER AND BUILD BACK UP. AND THEN IN THE WINTERTIME, THAT’S WHAT WE FEED THE LIVESTOCK AND THAT’S ALL THEY HAVE TO EAT. A CUT AND RAKING IN, BAILING IT, THEN HAULING AT HOME. IT ALSO DESTROYED LIVELIHOODS, WORK OFFS ALL SUMMER LONG. IT’S JUST DEVASTATING BECAUSE THE FLOOD NOT ONLY TOOK A LIFE, IT TOOK ROUGHLY 200 BROWN BALES OF HAY. JUST ONE DAY AFTER WATCHING A FLASH FLOOD WREAK HAVOC ON HIS NEIGHBORS, GARY EMIL FOUND OUT THE FLOOD CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A WOMAN, A PERSON HE KNEW. I’VE NEVER WITNESS THIS KIND OF DEVASTATION. HE SAYS IT WAS THE CRAZIEST THING HE’S EVER SEEN. I SPOKE TO A MAN WHO’S LIVED NEXT TO THE CREEK FOR MORE THAN 50 YEARS. YEAH, WARREN DREW THE FLASH FLOODING BEGAN SATURDAY AFTERNOON AFTER A RAINSTORM CAUSED BRUSHY FORK CREEK TO OVERFLOW. Let me know if there are any problems.īTW, I sort of stole the idea from Cypherfox, hope he doesn't get mad at me.HE JOINS US LIVE IN THE NEWSROOM WITH MORE. I actually haven't tested it for real yet, only the simulation, as there hasn't been any changes to the ads yet, but it should work as far as I can tell (and if DAZ doesn't do something that breaks it). The images are downloaded once, when they are updated ( = new item).

It only downloads a small amount of data (only the HTML code for the page) each time it checks. If you change the check interval while it's running, you must click the Start button if you want it to take effect immediately. It should now pop up after 30 seconds, simulating that some ads have changed (showing the border around them). Then click the minimize button to send it to the tray. There is a test feature: click Start while pressing the Shift button. Left click on an ad to get the context menu, from here you can open the page it links to in a new browser window. The borders can be reset by clicking Start again if you want. New ads will have a border around them, it should stay until next time something changes. If some of the ads have changed whenever it checks, if will pop up and play a sound.

Just set the check interval, click Start and click the Minimize button in the upper right corner, it will then close to the tray (it can be opened anytime by clicking the "SW" icon).
